Milk Donation Resources

If you are interested in donating milk there are many options. Visit these sites to find a location near you. NOTE: There are risks associated with informal milk sharing, especially in the case of premature and otherwise fragile infants. However, BfB wants every parent to be aware of all their feeding options and to be able to make an educated and informed decision about what’s next best to formula in the event a mother’s own milk is unavailable. By listing resources, we are not endorsing or recommending.

Milk Banks:

HMBANA -A HMBANA milk bank in your area will guide you through the process via phone or email. Once you’re all set, you can drop your precious donation at a HMBANA milk bank depot site or we can arrange for safe, overnight transportation at no cost to you. Informal Milk Sharing:

Eats on Feets: Every day, women from around the world selflessly donate thousands of ounces of breastmilk directly to babies. With Eats On Feets, these donations are commerce-free, just as nature intended, and they are making a huge difference in the lives of babies and their families.

HM4HB:The mission of Human Milk 4 Human Babies Global Network is to promote the nourishment of babies and children around the world with human milk. They are dedicated to fostering community between local families who have chosen to share breastmilk.
