About Me

Hello! I am Kelly, mom of two girls, September 2005 and January 2012.  I was raised on Debbie Allen's quote from Fame - "You want fame? ... Well, fame costs. And right here is where you start paying. With sweat."  

I don't want Fame.  I just want Sanity.  And Sweat buys my ticket out of the nuthouse on the regular.  

I have been lucky. I have avoided the "booby traps" and have been nursing for almost five of the last eight years. I am really excited about the opportunity to donate some sweat (I know I have already donated enough tears) to a cause near and dear to my heart.  

Join me.  Sweat with me.  Cheer for me.  Donate?  I'll shake my moneymaker if you make it rain?  

I recently completed my first sprint triathlon -  Girls Run the World on April 28th.  I will be completing several more this summer.  I am really excited to be raising money for BfB in conjunctin with my training for the Rex Wellness Sprint Triathlon in Raleigh on August 18, 2013.
